Get 50% off Registration when you Volunteer
Toodyay Playgroup is run by volunteers.
Families attending Playgroup or KinderGym can apply to volunteer for two sessions and receive 50% off the term fee for that session type.
Volunteer roles are simple, supported and designed to fit around supervising your own children.

About Toodyay Playgroup
Toodyay Playgroup Incorporated is a local, volunteer-run, not-for-profit.
We are supported primarily by parents and carers in our community.
Toodyay Playgroup was established in (1948?) and has a wealth of history.....
Our aim is simply to provide welcoming spaces where young children can play, learn and build friendships while their parents and carers connect with other local families.
Playgroup W.A. Membership
Families continuing with Toodyay Playgroup are required to hold a current Playgroup W.A. Membership.
This membership is organised directly through Playgroup W.A. and provides the insurance coverage required for participation in Toodyay Playgroup ongoing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1: Do I need to register before coming?
No. Your first session is free and you are welcome to come along before registering.
We encourage new families to contact us first so we have the latest session details.
If you already know you would like to join you are welcome to join right away.
Question 2: Do I need a Playgroup W.A. Membership?
Yes. If you decide to continue after your first session, a current Playgroup W.A. Membership is required before your second session. You can organise this directly through the Playgroup W.A. website.
Question 3: Can I bring siblings?
Yes siblings are welcome.
Parents and carers remain with their children throughout all Toodyay Playgroup sessions.
We are not a drop-off service.
Question 4: What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:-
- waterbottles
- hats
- morning tea for your family.
Question 5: Do sessions run during school holidays?
Our regular sessions generally run during W.A. school terms only.
Occasional school holiday activities will be organised and will be advertised directly to registered families.
Question 6: Can my family attend more than one session type?
Yes, you can register for Playgroup, KinderGym or both.
Your registration form will ask which sessions you would like to attend and how you would like to participate.
Question 7: How does the volunteer discount work?
Families who volunteer for two Playgroup sessions receive 50% off the Playgroup term fee.
Families who volunteer for two KinderGym sessions receive 50% off the KinderGym fee
The discounts are calculated separately, so families volunteering for two sessions of each can receive the discount on both term fees.
Question 8: Is there a concession rate?
Yes. The concession term fee is $20/family for Playgroup and $20/family for KinderGym.
Proof of concession may be requested during registration.
Question 9: Do I have to pay for the whole term?
No. Families attending Playgroup or KinderGym can choose either a term fee or pay-as-you-go at $5 per family, per session.
