Playgroup
Ages: 0-5yrs
When: Tuesdays - 9.30am to 11am
Where: Toodyay Resource Centre
When it Runs: WA School Terms only.
Playgroup is a relaxed and flexible session where young children and their families can spend time together in a welcoming local environment.
Sessions generally include:
* a simple group activity
* arts and crafts
* free play
The venue includes an open indoor play space and a fenced outdoor playground.
Bathrooms are availaable and the venue is pram friendly.
Families bring their own morning tea and drinks.
Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their own children throughout the session.
KinderGym
Ages: 2-5yrs with younger siblings welcome
When: Fridays, 9.30am to 11am
Where: Toodyay Sports Oval
When it Runs: WA School Terms only.
KinderGym is mostly unstructured active-play sessions designed to give children plenty of opportunities to move, climb, balance and explore at their own pace.
Equipment may include:-
* soft-play equipment
* crash mats
* balance beams
* slides
* small basketball equipment
* other gross-motor play equipment
There is also a softer play area suitable for babies and younger siblings.
Bathrooms and easy pram access are available.
Families may also use the adjoining oval while supervising their own children.
Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their own children throughout the session.

Bizzy Bees
Ages: Pre-Kindy age
Program Length: Term 3& 4
When: Every Monday during school term
Arrive: 8:50am for 9am - 11am
Where: Toodyay District High School

Bizzy Bees is a friendly, community-based prekindergarten program in Toodyay. We offer a warm, playful introduction to early learning, giving children the chance to explore, socialise and build confidence before starting school.
Our sessions help little ones become familiar with the Toodyay District School environment, making the transition to kindy feel natural, positive and exciting.
About the Program
Each Bizzy Bees session includes a mix of fun, hands-on activities that support early learning;
* Playtime to build imagination, confidence and social skills
* Storytime to encourage listening, language, and early literacy
* Rhymes & music to develop rhythm, memory and communication
* Art & craft to spark creativity and fine-motor development
What to Expect
Bizzy Bees is a shared, community experience. To help our sessions run smoothly, we ask families to:
* Join the session and assist their child when needed
* Run one session during the year (topic of your choice)
* Bring a plate of fruit to share
* Complete registration and pay playgroup fees
Parents and carers remain present for every session and continue to supervise their own children.
